| Our Funding | |||||||||||
| Initial funding for the CVHVAP was provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Department of California in the amount of $3,000. Second year funding for the program came from United Way through the Salvation Army. On August 8, 1989 the program received its non-profit status. | |||||||||||
| Since that date donations from the United Way, private organizations (i.e. VFW, American Legion, Lions/Lioness, Moose Lodge) and from individuals and local businesses have funded the program. Today, funding for the program still comes from the United Way, public and business donations. The program has also received in the last few years, some block grant funds from the city of Yuba City and the city of Marysville. | |||||||||||
